Sometimes our mirrors aren't in perfect sync

Mirroring the ubuntu archive takes hours, and by the time it’s finished, it’s often out of sync with itself.

The workaround is to simply wait until the next morning, and try again (we run our mirrors every night at 8pm, until they are done).

But we know about the problem, and are trying to solve it, by:

  • Getting the mirror script to never be able to do that.
  • If that fails, finding a better time of night to mirror.
