Some time ago, I changed my isp from Eccsystems, (their web site is eccsystems.co.za), to Telkom. I have found the Telkom offering too expensive, so am trying to reconnect to Eccsystems. During this interim period, I upgraded to Ubuntu 17.04. I have a radio antennae which I had installed by Eccsystems some years ago. I know that all the hardware is working and that the router is configured correctly. Eccsystems have confirmed this. The problem seems to be an incompatibility with the latest version of ubuntu. I originally downloaded the dc++ software from the Sourceforge site.
I have tried to get around the problem by: “sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get install dcpp” but have had no success.
Please help!
