Added sources for the Debian and Ubuntu repositories this weekend. This means that deb-src
lines in /etc/apt/sources.list
won’t produce errors.
Also added canonical-partner
, together with a virtualhost, so if you run
$ http_proxy=http://ftp.leg.uct.ac.za:80/ sudo aptitude install flashplugin-installer
It should download and install flash correctly.
Ubuntu 9.10, Karmic Koala, has been released. We have the CDs on our mirror, and should have the DVDs soon.

Linux4one is a remix of Ubuntu Netbook Remix for Acer AspireOne netbooks. These can be bought from Incredible Connection for R2000, but ship with Linpus Linux Lite, which many users don’t like.

If you download a DVD and it’s exactly 4GB chances are you are using a client (browser) or file-system that doesn’t support bigger files. Get the CD instead.
